#93 Plan Your Prayer Time

Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: We will never have enough time for prevailing prayer unless we deliberately plan for it. Our days will become as crowded as we permit.

The time we give to prayer by deliberately planning is the measure of our value of prayer. It is the measure of our love for those for whom we pray. (Google image, God Hears)

The Fear that Grips Humanity

The fear that grips humanity
The fear that grips each soul
Who have not placed their trust in God
To cleanse and make them whole

Who knows within their heart of hearts
There's more than meets the eye
Awaiting them the judgement day
When all the wicked die

#92 Prevailing Prayer Involves Time

Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: Prevailing in prayer until God's answer is given involves the investment of time.

Any prayer answer worthy of prevailing prayer is worth all the time that you can invest in it. It may involve time spent in prayer on repeated occasions as well as priority on your heart, so that you return to this special petition whenever you have free time. (Several pastors uniting in prayer, Google image)

#91 How Long Must You Persevere?

Dr. Lesley L. Duewel: 1. Persevere in prevailing prayer as long as Christ does. You are chosen to be Christ's prayer partner. He has seated you in the heavenlies beside him on His throne.

You are to join His rule of intercessory grace by joining your prayers with His. He still loves. He still longs. He still intercedes. You dare not give up while He is praying.

God's Immeasurable Goodness

Judy Pierce- "At 9:30 one summer morning, I tugged open the kitchen window blinds hoping to see sunshine.

Mist lingered in the atmosphere as it had for most of the past two weeks. Disappointed, I pointed my chin toward heaven and prayed, 'Father, cheer me up today and let the sun shine brightly this morning—if only for ten minutes. I thank you in Jesus’ name. Amen.' (Thatcher Park on a misty day)

#90 Give God Time to Answer- Part 2

Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: 4. Sometimes it takes time for God to prune from your own life things that are hindering your prayer.

Study John 15:2. Of all fruit-bearing plants, vines, and trees, none requires so much pruning as does the vine, which must be pruned each year.

Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Paul  all became very fruitful as God pruned their lives.

#89 Give God Time to Answer- Part 1

Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: Many prayers are granted by God but given up by the ones praying because they stopped praying before the answer arrived.

Undelivered prayers help no one. Without the dynamic of persistence much prayer remains unanswered.

Daniel prayed with fasting until, on the twenty-first day, the angel Gabriel finally delivered him the answer. He said, (Someone praying, Google image)

Old Yet New [Kentucky Sinkhole]

Dave Branon: In 2014, a sinkhole opened up under the National corvette Museum in Kentucky, swallowing eight vintage, irreplaceable Chevrolet Corvette sports cars.

The automobiles were severely damaged — some beyond repair. One car in particular received a lot of attention. The one-millionth Corvette, which rolled off the assembly line in 1992, was the most valuable in the collection. (Sinkhole in Kentucky, Google image)

#88 The Dynamic of Perseverance

Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: "Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up" (Luke 18:1).

He told the parable of the unjust judge who was not interested in justice but became so tired of a widow's coming to him and bothering him by asking for justice that he finally said, "I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out." (v. 5). [Jesus teaching His disciples, Google image]
