#31 Love for Souls is a Yearning Love
Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: The love of Christ creates in us a yearning for the salvation of the unsaved. This should be the characteristic emotion of a Christian worker's heart.
There must be a constant, ever-present tender desire for the salvation of all. There are moments when you may not be conscious of this longing, but it springs up again instantly into consciousness as you mingle with people who do not know Christ. (Google image, Man speaking).

#30 Your Love for the Unsaved
Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: God so loved the world that He gave Jesus for the salvation of the world of sinners. All we are and all we have we owe to God's great love for us while we were rebels by our sinful acts.
Jesus died for us, not because we were so wonderful or good, but out of pure love. There is no more important way to repay God the Father and our loving Savior than to love the world which they still love with the same longing, redemptive love. (Google image, Jesus embracing a man)

#29 How to Receive this Passion
Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: Do you long to be a person of God with such a passion for souls that God begins to add a new dimension of fruitfullness to your leadership?
Dare you believe that God will give it to you if you ask? Not everyone is called to be a Whitefield, a Billy Graham, or a Praying Hyde. But everyone of us is called to bear fruit—both fruit of the Spirit and the fruit of souls. (Google image, 12 ways to improve as a Christian)

So, Tell Me About Forgiveness
Jean Oathout: Do I just say, "I forgive you," and that takes care of it?
When we take the time to closely examine how we are reacting to an emotional or physical injury, we may begin to see there's more to it than what meets the eye. (Google image, Two friends talking)

#28 Let the Passion for Souls Kindle You
Read the following words not with a spiritual nochalance nor a hurried casualness. These words poured forth from hearts of Christlike yearning, from their own Gethsemane of longing. (Google image, Praying man at desk

#27 Ablaze with a Passion for Souls
Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: What a beautiful phrase! Yet how many of us have almost forgotten the expression "A Passion for Souls." For years it was a tremendous motivating force for God's children.
Today with the emphasis upon such terms as church growth,
counseling, Christian education, and youth ministries we have almost forgotten the emphasis upon constantly winning people to Christ. (Google image, Woman praying, "Teach me to pray!")

A Barrier in Times of Trouble
washing away your foundation like a tsunami, it is easy to let your flesh begin to dominate your thought life.
Feelings of resentment and anger may trigger old wounds that the Lord would desire to heal us of; things that we thought we were "over" can so easily surface when the right wave comes along and pounds relentlessly along those weak stones in our foundation. We find out quickly in times of trouble the areas where we need to grow. (Google image, Hoover dam).

#26 Loving Jesus will Transform Your Life
It will make putting priority on prayer much easier. Loving Jesus will make you a radiant witness of all He means to you and does for you. (Google image, Man's folded hands on Bible).

#25 Ablaze with a Passion for Christ
Dr. Wesley L. Duewel: Your deepened passion for Jesus must begin with your passion of love, your deeper dimension of love for Him, your more intensely personal devotion to Him, your more constant delighting in His love and more frequent resting in his love. (Google image, Filling with Holy Spirit and revival).
