He'll meet you there.
Will He Love Me?
I see a cross lifted high on a hill
Does He Love Me?
And something inside me says, “Go,”
I want to go near it,
Yet somehow I fear it,
There’s something that I need to know.
Will he love me?
Does he even see me?
I’m just one among the millions
Who’ve tried to say a prayer.
Will he love me?
Does he even see me?
I’ve been living in this valley
But I need to go up there—
To the cross,
Yes, I love you. I really see you.
And I'm waiting just to talk to you,
I want to hear your prayer--at the cross . . .
The holy cross . . . come touch my cross . . .up on the hill.
The holy cross,
To touch the cross
Up on the hill.

“This
how much God loved the world: [which includes you] He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why:
so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, any can have a whole and
lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to
point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to
put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who
refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without
knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the
one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.” ( John
3:16-18 MSG)
