He Will Heal You

Max Lucado: "Are you waiting for Jesus to heal you?

Take hope from Jesus’ response
to the blind man in Mark 10:45-47.

“Have mercy on us, O Lord!” the blind man cried.

Everyone else kept going. Jesus froze. Something caught his attention. Interrupted his journey.

Raising his hand to stop the people, lifting a finger to his lips for them to be quiet. What was it? What did Jesus hear?

A prayer. An unembellished appeal for help floating on winds of faith and landing against his ear. Jesus heard the words and stopped.

He still does. And he still asks, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

Before amen—comes the power
of a simple prayer! And Jesus’ heart went out to the blind men.

He touched their eyes. Jesus moved in where others had stepped away. He healed them.

At the gateway to heaven, God’s children will once again be whole!

                                       God bless the ones

God bless the ones
Who walk alone
Only memories of
A family gone

God bless the ones
Who have gone astray
Frantically searching
For a better day

God bless the ones
Lying in the street
Hungry and cold
Nothing at all to eat

God bless the ones
Who are in despair
Screaming out in pain
But no ones there

God bless the ones
Beaten and abused
Lying in the darkness
Battered and bruised

God bless the ones
Fighting for our land
Fearing the next bullet
A gun in his hand

Pray with me:

   Father, I believe the healing

for others, as well as myself at
times, is available through heart-felt prayer.

I know You are aware of our every need, as the Bible says You're concerned for us. (see Psalms 91)

Help me to pray with an open heart to receive from You in our times of need.

In the precious name of Jesus I ask this. Amen.

Today’s Bible verse: Daniel 17:32b "But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."

Today’s quotes: Marvil Williams - "As we learn to see that Christ is the source of all we have, we will find contentment in Him rather than riches, we will gain a desire to be faithful with what we have been given."

David McCasland - "Jesus was born into our world and gave His life so that we can be forgiven and transformed through faith in him. This is the heart of Christmas!"

Some thoughts today:
- Be reconciled to God by the death of His Son, so you will be saved by his life.

- Put your hope in God. (see Rom. 5:8-21. God provided a way for us to have eternal life through the free gift offered in Christ's obedience on our behalf, which paid for our sins in full.

- The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us.

Francis Frangipane shares with us, "Christians must realize that God condemns demonic, fleshly probing into the unknown.

He has called intercessors not to wonder about the future, but to create it through the knowledge of His Living Word and prayer!"
