Pray "With All Kinds of Prayer"

Alvin Vandergriend-

PRAISE"Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchabel his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!" (Romans 11:33).

I praise you, God, for the richness of Your wisdom and knowledge, and I rejoice in Your unsearchable ways I exalt Your name and . . .  (Google image, Open Bible with pen and cup of coffee))

  (Note: Ponder each verse below with the awareness that God is telling you what He thinks. Respond back to God by telling Him what you think. This is one way to pray Scripture. Try to give about the same amount of time to each element.)

THANKS"My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19).

Thank You, God, for meetig all my needs—temporal, physical, emotional, spirituial, and eternal. I am especially grateful that . . .

Words of wisdom-

~ Christ is the Living God, come in flesh for the redemption of mankind! He is seated at the right hand of Father God in heaven. Christ's Spirit is now the Father's Gift to us as believers. This Spirit is the revelation of Jesus, working in us, laid from the foundation of our faith through the Apostle Paul (see 1 Cor. 3:10).

Quotes for today-

~ A. W. Tozer- "Death and the devil had been done in by the only one who was capable of such a mighty act, Jesus the Son of God. An old hymn states this for us in ecstatic language:

   The strife is o'er, the battle done;
   The victory of life is won;
   The song of triumph has begun -
                                                  Hallelujah!

   The powers of death have done their worst,
   But Christ their legions hath dispersed;
   Let shouts of holy joy outburst -
                                                 Hallelujah!

   He brake the age-bond chains of hell;
   The bars from heaven's high portals fell;
   Let hymns of praise His triumph tell -
                                                 Hallelujah!"

Marvin Williams- "When we sin, there's no self-cleaning solution. With a humble and repentant heart, we must acknowledge our sins and place them under the cleansing light of God's holiness. We must turn from them and return to Him. And He, the only One who cleans the stains of the soul, will offer us complete forgiveness and renewed fellowship."

Let's pray-  "Father, forgive us for ignoring or trying to get rid of our sin. We know only You can clean the stains of our souls. We acknowledge and repent of our self-sufficiency and turn to You."  [Taken from the prayer and quote on ODB, 3/30/22]

   Jolene Underwood

"When you've been through a painful loss, and a friend asks, "How are you?” how do you respond? Are you quick to brush it off, or do tears come easily? Maybe emotions surface, but you do whatever you can to keep them at bay. Responses to loss vary by person, day, and circumstance as part of the normal process of grief . . ."
