Jean Oathout- As we all need a powerful prayer for our kids, let's place their name(s) in this prayer, shared by Liberty Savard in her book, Shattering Your Strongholds.)
"Father-God, I come before You today pleading for the deliverance and salvation of my children. You are my LORD, and my heart rejoices in You. My strength rises in the Lord! (Google image, Praying for our children)
My words mock my enemies because I rejoice in your deliverance. No one is holy like You, the Lord—no, no one except You! I proclaim: there is no rock like our God!
I will not go on and on, talking proudly, spouting arrogance from my mouth because You are the LORD who knows and You weigh every act. In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind my children’s body, soul and spirit to the will and purposes of God.
I bind their feet to the paths of righteousness that their steps would be steady and sure. I bind them to the work of the cross with all of its mercy, grace, love, forgiveness and dying to self.
I loose every old, wrong, ungodly pattern of thinking, attitude, idea, desire, belief, motivation, habit and behavior from them. I stand in the gap, tearing down and destroying every stronghold associated with these feelings.
I loose the strongholds of unforgiveness, fear and distrust from them. I loose the power and effects of deceptions and lies of the enemy, and command confusion to go from their minds.
I call forth every precious word of Scripture that has ever entered into their minds and hearts to rise up in power within them. There is nowhere they can go to avoid Your Spirit—it they climb to the sky, You’re there!
If they go underground, You’re there! If they fly on morning’s wings to the far western horizon, You will find them—You’re already there waiting! Father, in the name of Jesus, I proclaim:
All my children will be disciples taught by the LORD. They will obedient to Your will, and great shall be their peace and undisturbed composure. My children were born to worship and glorify You! I pray this is the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

You might want to print a copy of this prayer, so you can pray it over your child(ren). I just did. The author's book I've sent for, too. It's offered, including tax and postage was only $6.24! You might be glad to have it as a resource for helping you break some bondages.)
Let's pray-
"Father, I pray for all my family – including children, grandchildren and their children, lifting them to You as living memorials. The multitude of blessings that have come down through generations will continue to multiply and overtake them. I ask You to reveal who Jesus is to them, and they will recognize and know that You are God!
Our posterity–future generations–can never escape from Your Spirit! They can never get away from Your presence! If they go up to heaven, you are there; if they go down to the grave, You are there. If they ride the wings of the morning, or dwell by the farthest oceans, even there Your hand will guide them, and Your strength will support them.
They were born for such a time as this for Your purposes… to fulfill Your plans. The glory of the Lord has risen upon them in the name of Jesus." Germine Copeland

Today's quotes-
~ "Hard places are valuable in revealing to us ourselves, and showing us our insufficiencies and failures. They are God's great blasting processes in the work of spiritual excavation, and must precede the higher work of building up the life and character.
We never know what graces and qualities we posses until the test comes, and then the faith and courage that glowed with such a flame in the moment of enthusiasm and inspiration finds its true level, and the soul is thrown back in its nothingness and helplessness upon Christ alone to find in Him its all in all."
(Feb. 2019 Herald of his Coming)~ Dr. Brown- Concerning the Coronavirus, "First, there is no reason for panic. Caution, yes. Panic no.
Let's remember that the media, by nature, can be sensationalistic. That means that coverage of the coronavirus will also be sensationalistic. So, analyze the reporting with your head and not just your heart. Then, make wise decisions, especially based on your health. You can be cautious and practical without being in a panic.
Second, for followers of Jesus, there is no room for fear. If we truly have God as our Father and are in right relationship with Him, we need only fear Him (in a holy, reverential way). We need not fear sudden disaster or wasting disease.
He is our shield and our strength, our lives are in His hands, and we trust Him, whatever comes our way. Plus, the greatest antidote to fear is a healthy, Bible-based faith. At times like this, it is good to build our faith with passages like Psalm 91."

Words of wisdom-
Our doubts, perplexities and sorrows are to be brought to God's Word. We're to then lift our hearts in prayer to the Eternal Spirit to guide us in our reading, to open our understanding, and to unveil our eyes to this divine well-spring of life.
Today's question-
What does it mean to have life in Christ?
Looking at Luke 4:1-5, we see Satan tempting Christ to give him worship in exchange for the world. He knew Who Christ was, so he tried to persuade Him to worship him. But he tried anyway, thinking that if he gave Christ something, He would give him the worship he longed for, after being kicked out of heaven.
The beauty of what Christ ended up accomplishing is that, He gives us salvation from our sins when we give them to Him! He is the One worthy of our praise!
This Word, the Bible, that we hold, is God's living, breathing, life-giving, absolute Truth, inspired by God, and given to us through the efforts of men who transcribed it through much tribulation, so we would have it in our language.
Ps. 119:11 tells us about storing up God's Word in our hearts, that we may not sin against Him. There's joy and excitement in learning from the truth, that we're to worship God only. John 4:23 tells us that God seeks those to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Let's be quick to give God praise and honor, and to live lives that bring Him honor and glory. He will be pleased, for sure.
