You Just Don't Know

Debbie McEwen-

You just don’t know when or how what you say or do affects someone.

You just don’t know when you may have made someone’s day with a smile or a compliment.

You just don’t know how being positive around negative people can change a situation or even a life.
(Google image, Smiling is the key to happiness)

You just don’t know how the little things that you do without thinking can affect people.

People are watching.

People are waiting to see what you will do.

People are thirsty for something good.

People will gravitate to the negative but soak up the positive which feeds their souls.

You just don’t know when a word said today will influence someone’s life years in the future.

You just don’t know but the angels are also watching and cheering for you to do the good things.

The demons are also watching and cheering for you to make the choices that Satan wants. You know, the negative, sinful choices.

You have free will, so you get to make that decision.

You need to know that it will follow you for eternity so choose well, my friend.

Each word, each deed matters and you just never know how much.

But now you know so think carefully and make each choice count.

Otherwise, you just don’t know…

Blessings on you dear friend.

I pray for your safety during this most difficult of times. I pray that this different season of our lives bring you a chance to grow in your faith. We can only rely on God. He alone is our rock and refuge.

Let's pray-

"Father, I thank You for the great love You have bestowed upon me, that I should be called a child of God! I submit to Your Word that is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints, and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of my heart. In the name of Jesus, I repent and renounce anger, bitterness, and depression. In the name of Jesus, I look inside that I might experience Your love that is imparted to me. Amen.

Today's quote-

Lisa's photo

Lisa Buffaloe- "The world has changed, is changing, there are things that make us sad, and we don’t know what the world will look like in the future. However, we have a choice where we focus and how we live our lives. When we remember that Christ is eternal, our life in Christ is eternal, we have hope that is eternal!

Peter later wrote to be ready to make a defense “…to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you…” ~ 1 Peter 3:15 (NASB)

Do others see the hope we have in Christ? Are they asking about the hope within us?

Let’s live in Christ, focusing on Christ, so that others will be drawn to the blessed, eternal hope found in Christ.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.” ~ 1 Peter 1:3-4 (NASB)

Words of wisdom-

~ One way to give pleasure to Jesus, is to imitate His ways in caring for others. If you know of someone's need and can serve them, be quick to take the opportunity to do so. This gives God more reason to be proud of you. Today, look for a need, and do your best to fill it.
