How To Show Respect for Your Husband

How to Show Respect for Your Husband

Take all isues to God in prayer.

Consider his needs more important than your own.

Try to out bless him.

Realize that sex is a demonstration of his love.

Initiate sex sometimes.

Tell him what you like about his body.

Tell him that you enjoy being with him.

Enjoy physical pleasure he gives you.

Accept his compliments, (even if you don't agree).

Don't discredit his compliments, as God has given him eyes for you.

Share laughs with him.

Spend time on you clothes, hair, and cleanliness.

Cultivate a gentle spirit.

Ask what will bring him peace, quiet and order in the home, and do it.

Have honest admiration for him. Do it in  public, in front of him.

Tell him every nice thing he does.

Never compare him less favorably to another man.

Say "I love you" often.

Ephesians 5:33 (NKJV) "Nevertheless, let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

(CSB) "To sum it all up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself, and the wife is to respect her husband."

Let's pray-

Father, please help us, as wives, to be conscious of our husband's needs, and to do what we can to meet them, taking all issues to Jesus, the One who loves us so much, and wants to bless our marriages.
May we share laughs with them, admire them, and speak of our love for them to those who know us. May we tell them often that we love them.
We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen

841-845 one-line Scriptures for those of you who want to learn some more verses this week- or to review them from when they were first posted-

841- Ps. 33:4 "for the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth."

842- Ps.69:34 "Let the heaven and eartah praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein."

843- Ps. 143:10 "Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness."

844- Ps. 34:22 "The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate."

845- 2 Thess. 3:3 "But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil."

Quote for today-

Cindy Sproles- "We are gifted long before our births. God knew exactly what He had in store for us and just what He could trust us to accomplish. We’re already a yard’s length ahead of the game. Trust your work to Him and believe that all the ends will be tied up appropriately. You don’t quit – you trust."

Words of wisdom-

~ You will have a joy-filled life after repenting and receiving the forgiveness you need. Your God-given faith is what will make a difference in your prayers, as you allow Jesus to work in and through you. He does the changing, not us! We simply cannot make people and things change by ourselves. He does the work!
