Good Morning, Lord

Lisa Buffaloe: "Thank You for Your new mercies every morning. Open my eyes to watch what You are doing and how You are working.

Renew my mind to Your good and perfect will. Help me to ignore the negatives and keep my focus on You and Your unfailing love. Help me to think only on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, excellence and worthy of praise.

Oh Father, I want to live well the life You have given me. Help me not waste a moment of the time You have given. Guide me on Your perfect path that I might honor You and bear fruit for Your Kingdom.

I love You, Father!

I ask these things in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ who is my Savior. Amen"

“The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” ~ Lamentations 3:22-23 (NASB)

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” ~ Romans 12:2 (NIV)

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” ~Philippians 4:8 (NASB)

Today’s quote:

~ Keila Ochoa - "God desires a relationship with us. In the Morning we can invite Him into our day, and then we can praise Him and ask Him for His help throughout the day. At other times we can treasure
sometime alone with Him and reflect on His faithfulness. As we spend time with God in prayer and in His Word, we grow in our relationship with Him and learn to become more and more like him. As time with God becomes a priority, we enjoy His company m ore and more." (Taken from ODB 11/11/15)

"Father, I want to have an intimate relationship with You.
I invite You to be part of my entire day—from the time

I awake until I go to sleep." (Keila Ochoa)

Today’s Bible verse:

Prov. 2:8 MSG "For he guards the course of the
just and protects the way of His faithful ones."

       Every Day

Every day is a bonus

Every sunset is a blessing

Every flower is a delight

Every rainbow is a promise

Every smile is a sunbeam

Every friend is a treasure

Every moment with God is heavenly

And the joys of earth give a glimpse of heaven

Praise be to You, my Loving Father

Some thoughts today:

~ God wants us to have a "water-walking" kind of faith. What He promises us in His Word is all important, and He challenges us to simply and prayerfully walk it out.

When you read words from the Bible that impress you to believe that God means it for you, accept them. If the message aligns with what He's been revealing to you in and through messages you've heard, take it to be His Voice speaking to you.

If it's a life-changing question you have, seek your pastor's
advice to verify what you're sensing to be the right direction for you.

Everyone prays when in crisis. When the house is on fire, the kids are driving you nuts, the job is in jeopardy, the health challenge is serious, the finances are failing..."

Very creative, don't you think?
