Unfailing

Lisa BuffaloeThe worries of coordinating our upcoming move with movers, car shipping, packing items in the bedrooms, office, bathrooms, garage, finding flights, and working with people in another state for when we arrive, had me tossing
 and turning in the night.

I prayed for God’s mercy, prayed for help, and apologized to God that I was worried and wasn’t resting.

So I turned my prayers into praises that God is bigger than my worries, bigger than the moving issues, and bigger than my fears.

And then the still small voice asked,
“Have I ever failed you?”

Tears flowed as I realized God has never failed me. Yes I’ve been through hard times and difficult problems, but God has never failed me and will never fail me. He is always there for whatever we go through.

God’s love is unfailing. He is unfailing. God won’t ever fail you.

For those who are alone (even in a marriage), single, divorced, or widowed, God is an unfailing husband, an unfailing Father to the fatherless, and an unfailing defender of widows and orphans.

No matter who you are, hard times may come, difficulties may arise, but God will not fail you!

“For your husband is your Maker, whose name is the Lord of hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.” ~ Isaiah 54:5 (NASB)

“If my father and mother leave me, the Lord will take me in.” ~ Psalm 27:10 (NCV)

“He helps orphans and widows, and He loves foreigners and gives them food and clothes.” ~ Deuteronomy 10:18 (NCV)

“A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, is God in His holy habitation.” ~ Psalm 68:5 (NASB)

Unfailing  Posted: 11 Jun 2015

Today's Bible verse-

“The LORD your God has blessed you in everything you have done. He has watched your every step through this great wilderness. During these forty years, the LORD your God has been with you, and you have lacked nothing” (Deuteronomy 2: 7).

Today's quotes-

"The desert has things to teach us. We learn things there that we can’t learn anywhere else. We see the careful provision of our Father in a different light. His love stands out in stark relief against the background of the desert’s barren landscape. In the wilderness, we come to the end of ourselves. We learn in new and deeper ways to cling to Him and wait for Him. When we come out of the desert, the desert lessons stay with us. We take them with us into the next stretch. We remember the God who led us through the desert, and we know that He is with us still." {from Fruitful Desert by Jennifer Kennedy Dean as seen on Girlfriends in God}

"When you wonder about your life ..your dreams , your hopes , your present situation ....know this ....there's a friend who knew you before you were born , who formed you in your mothers womb , who's plans for you He made even before you were formed , who saw you as His long before you knew Him ..Who gave His life for you ..so you could live ...forever ... This friends name is above every name , He is 'I Am ' ".  Ernie Miller

Let's pray-
"Lord ...I pray for the one or the many...you know Lord ..whose hope has faded, whose dreams seem impossible, whose situation hopeless ...Lord restore hope I pray, change hearts, align events ..for your glory ....and let them know your love for them ...right now..just as they are...thank you for hearing me.."  Ernie Miller

"Lord I want to know you more, than just a figment of the mind, I want to know you in a way, that I will let Your light shine. I hear others talk about the intimacy they have with You. I want to get to know You like they say they do..."

  1. God is so amazing! No one could ever be as steadfast as He. We are so blessed to be His children and to experience His unfailing love and protection.
