We have our own agenda, and are quite sure we know what's best in a given situation . . . right?
What if we learn they are trustworthy? Does that make a difference? No doubt, it will, and we will then learn to trust them.

In our living, we will have many instances where we need to make serious decisions, and to be able to trust the counseling we get is extremely important, as our future may depend on it.
I'd like to suggest that our learning to trust the God of the universe, is of utmost of importance, as He does know what's best for each of us. He loves us unconditionally, and watches over us minute by minute all our lives.
Now, how is trust in Him developed? In what I read in the Bible, and also in various Christian-centered articles, our own hard times seem to cause us to seek His help, and to inquire what His thoughts and plans may be for us.
Daily reading of God's Word, the Bible, brings us hope and the assurance that He is very aware of us, and knows about every thought, need and desire we have.
When we ask for guidance from someone who knows the Father well, and who's in good relationship with Him, we can learn what His Word tells us how to respond, and to have a good attitude.
I'm learning that praise during the hard moments can bring relief from anxious thoughts that bombard us. Trusting in God as our Helper (Heb. 13:6), makes all the difference in the world, as He calms us with the realization that He is in control of our situation. He will defend us against Satan's ulterior motives.
In our daily experiences of trusting in God's leadership, we will learn that He is Faithful, and that we can truly trust Him to show the best route to take, when we ask for His help. Even when we fail to do that, He'll attempt to guide us into His best plan for us.
But will we trust Him, and then be obedient?
