God is able to save all who come unto Him. "Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him (Jesus), seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them" (Heb. 7:25). (Google image, Open Bible)
God is able to keep. "For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day" (2 Tim. 1:12).
God is able to sanctify. "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy; to the only wise God our Savior; be glory and majesty; dominion and power; both now and ever. Amen" (Jude vv. 24-25).
God is able to give strength for victory in every weakness. "Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand" (Rom. 14:4).
God is able to empower for fruitful service. "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work" (2 Cor. 9:8).
God is able to deliver in temptation. "For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted" (Heb. 2:18).
God is able to protect from danger. "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, O king" (Dan. 3:17).
God is able to supply the needs of them who obey Him. "And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, the Lord is able to give thee much more than this" (2 Chr. 25:9).
God is able to fulfill His promises in me and to me. "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform" (Rom. 20:20-21).
The guarantee. "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen" (Eph. 3:20-21).

I Can Hardly Wait for Tomorrow To see what God will do!

Prayer-
Father, thank You that You are able to save all who come unto You, and You'll strengthen us in our weakness, and empower us for the fruitful service You plan for us individually.
You will deliver us from temptation by providing a way of escape, protect us from danger, and supply the needs of those who obey You.
You guarantee all this, knowing full well You can do much more than we can even imagine or ask.
Father, You are the Great God! You are our God who loves us all unconditionally, desiring that none of us will have to be separated from You now, or for eternity.
This is why Jesus was sent to make a way back to the Father through the Redemption provided by Christ in humbling Himself to take the punishment on the cruel Roman cross, some 2,000 years ago.He endured all that Satan could do to Him through the soldier's mistreatment prior to, and including, nailing Him to the cross on our behalf. He took the full punishment of what we deserved for our sins. He arose victorious the third day, preached to those in Hell, proving that the Father kept His Word that a Savior would come. He gave gifts to men for the Church, which was to begin through His disciples.
Jesus took the imprisoned captives captive with Him, returned to His Father in heaven, and placed His blood on the altar for our redemption.
I thank You, Lord Jesus, and ask that You remind us often of what has been provided for us through Your sacrifice. Amen.
Today's Scriptures:
(John 3:16-18 NIV) "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (v.17) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (v. 18) Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
(Eph. 3:8 KJV) "Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high,he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (v. (9) (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? (v.10) He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things."
Today's quotes-
~ Samuel Chadwick: "Confusion and impotence are inevitable when the wisdom and resources of the world are substituted for the presence and power of the Spirit of God." (As found on p. 7 of the February 2017 issue of Herald of His Coming)
~ Maureen Hall Puccini- "My working definition of true holiness is “a yielded responsiveness to God.” What will develop will not be a legalistic holiness based on rules. Instead, we’ll reflect Jesus in all His glory as we remain in Him.
After all, the wind and waves obey Him—why not us?
What would the world be like if Christians promptly obeyed the Holy Spirit’s gentlest touch? It would mean setting aside our own personal goals and wishes to fulfill His desires. That adjustment in our hearts would change everything. Each and every day our lives would bear eternal fruit for our Master."

A sample verse from p. 100-
When my Husband Said,
"Don't Do It"
"When my husband said, "Don't do it"
I found that to obey,
Would give God freedom to use it
So He could show His way.
I didn't know God's will until
His Presence I had sought.
I struggled against my self-will
And things I had been taught."
