Alvin Vandergriend- You can petition God for . . .
. . . any or all of the following spiritual blessings for yourself with the confidence that you will be given what you ask because they are in line with God's will (1 John 5:14-15). This assumes that you ask in faith and have a pure heart. (Google image, Praying man clipart)

701-705 one-line Scriptures for those of you who want to learn some more verses this week- or to review them from when they were first posted-
701- Ps. 119:33 "Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end."
702- Ps. 17:1 "Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips."
703- Ps. 28:8 "The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed."
704- Ps. 115:11 "Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield."
705- Rom. 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Words of wisdom-
~ We have a sharp temptation to focus our lives on wealth to make us secure. The Lord's prayer centers us on the invasion of earth by heaven. Asking heaven to be our security, we are to live in such a way that we trust in God and the security of things up there.
A poem today-
God Loves You and Wants You to Know
God loves you and wants you to know
He is right here with you.
Open His word and He will show
Just what you are to do.
Christ longs for you to know He brings
His peace which comes within.
You can be borne on eagle's wings
When you can trust in Him.
The Bible tells us what happened
When first God's Spirit came.
It was His promise that He'd send
His Spirit in Christ's Name.
When once we are in Christ made clean
From inherited sin,
We need to know what God does mean;
He wants to come within.
There are many who were forlorn
But in Christ they believed.
These folks found they'd been "reborn"'
God's Spirit they'd received.
It's so important that we see
The Lord's way is the best.
Obey His Word so you will be
Someone who finds God's rest.

Today's quotes-
~ Marcellus George- "God’s invisible attributes, including His faithfulness, are revealed in His creation and provision for the earth. God’s faithfulness shows He is completely dependable. Also, according to Jeremiah, God’s faithfulness demonstrates His steadfast love. The love of God for His children is unwavering and guaranteed by His faithfulness. God wants us to realize there are no valid reasons to doubt His trustworthiness."
~ Karen Friday- "Who better to tenderly and lovingly watch over your heart, care for your heart, and heal your heart than the God who created you. Just as the Lord transforms your spiritual being from the inside out, He heals you from the inside out. Because let’s face it, a wounded heart affects so many things about a person. Things like your countenance, outlook, relationships, peace and hope."

"When I held my first grandchild, that weight didn’t settle quite as heavily upon my shoulders. I realized that instead of being one of the main influences in my grandchild’s life, I was to play a supporting role."
