There's no Question and no Doubts . . . About our Needs

Ernie Miller- "There’s no question and no doubts . . . about our needs.
And there’s no question and no doubts about the only one who cares, knows and can meet every need . . .

not sometime, not in some distant future, not by something we can earn, can purchase, can deserve, or barter for . . . (Google image, We all have needs)

The hardest thing men can ever do is to simply accept, to receive . . . what Christ offers to them.

but . . . at that moment when love breaks through . . . they will discover that which they’ve spent a lifetime searching for . . . The love of God for them, right now, just as they are . . . The miracle of salvation...a new life begins each time a broken soul cries out to Jesus . . . who will reject no one . . .

If that’s you, your in good company because, every man who’s ever walked upon this earth has the exact same story . . . but for the grace of God.

There’s no formula, no special procedure, no list of things you must do, no group to join, no requirements you must do . . . it’s free, it’s complete, and it’s forever.

It’s between you and God alone. If you’re persuaded that now is the time . . . cry out to Jesus. He’ll fill in every gap you don’t know about, every question you have, He knows all things . . . He alone can redeem you. And . . . you’ll know it, because, when your heart seeks Him, you will find Him.

If you want counsel, want help, He’s placed people near you, wherever you are . . . to share your burdens, share His love with you.
He is Lord, the risen King! Christ Jesus . . .
Nothing is impossible to him!

Let's pray-

"Heavenly Father, I thank You for the United States of America, which was founded upon religious freedom and Your Word. Thank You for the founding fathers, Lord, who looked to You for guidance to develop the kind of government that would be pleasing to You. The president and his advisers need Your wisdom to safeguard freedom.
By wisdom You laid the earth’s foundations, and by understanding You set the heavens in place. I pray that these leaders will turn their ears to wisdom and apply their hearts to understanding. May the light of Your word run swiftly and prevail throughout the United States of America. I pray that Your love will burn brightly in the land "from sea to shining sea." Give us a rebirth of freedom, in the name of Jesus. Amen"

Today's quote-

Father at the Helm
© Butch Dias 10/16/2007
When darkness tries to overwhelm,
And you cry out what should I do?
Remember who is at the helm,
The Lord who is leading you.
If you put your trust in Him,
And let Him guide your way.
When life looks very, very dim,
He brings you to safety in the bay.
In a world of suffering,
In a world full of trials.
You never know what life will bring,
Sometimes it is poison in a vile.
So when the seas become very rough,
And the winds are blowing full gale.
And the pressure is making life so tough,
You batten the hatches and set sail.
Remember no matter what kind of storm,
Or how high you see the sea.
Even if you wish you were never born,
God is at the helm for you and me.

Words of wisdom-

God gives us wisdom to deal with difficult challenges. Everything we do is for our training. Don't let others pressure you into a performance that they expect of you, causing Satan to turn it into a curse.

~ We see our complacence and our weaknesses when we examine our performance, that it isn't all God wants of us, just what others try to make us do.

Today's guest post-

Karen Neely- "The day was both a sad, heart-wrenching day and a heart-bursting joyful day.
How can everything seem normal one minute and then, with the ring of a phone, my world become so sad?

The phone call asked me to pray for Stephen, a dear friend. He had been missing in Tel Aviv for twelve hours. He failed to meet his travel group to begin their journey into the Holy Land—a trip he had sacrificially saved, planned, and prayed for . . . "
