Dr. Wesley Duewel- God's angels are always on call to God and to you when you pray. They are
sent to help accomplish God's purpose for you, particularly in the area of expediting your prayers.
It is always correct to say God gives the answer to prayer, for angels act on God's behalf. They are His personal representatives. There is no limit to what they can do for you if it is in accord with God's will. If more than one angel is required, God can dispatch enough to meet your need. (Google image, Angels: God's Servants for You) [For further study]
Angels seem to be able to travel at the incredible speed of the world of spirit. They are not hampered by a physical body, but when God so wills, they can use physical strength or increase your strength (Dan. 10:18-19; Luke 22:43).
If God wills, they can instantly assume a bodily form and function through this body.
Remember these important points about the angels:
- God's angels are always with you.
- God's angels can go anywhere at any time. They are where you need them when you need them.
- God's angels are instantly available at God's command.
- God's angels have superhuman strength.
- God's angels are probably God's chief agents for answering your prayers.
- God's angels delight to do God's will.
- God's angels have a permanent assignment to help you.
- God's angels love you because you are loved by God.
- You can ask God for the help of His angels at any time.
- God's angels are only God's servants, assigned to you. You do not pray to them; you pray only to God and ask Him for their help.
- God's angels will rejoice with you in heaven and will probably explain to you how your prayers were answered on various occasions.
One reason you should be so thankful for angelic help is the constant opposition of Satan and his demonic forces to God's will, God's ministry, and God's people.
He seeks to strike back at God by attacking mankind, the object of God's love and plans. Satan has mobilized his forces against you. They are constantly opposing you, hindering you far more than you realize (Eph. 6:12).
But rejoice! Take courage! God alone is almighty, omniscient, and omnipresent. Satan is present at only one place at a time. He must depend on his demon helpers to work for him.
God has far more holy angels than satan has demons. Spiritual warfare is won by prayer, with the help of God's angels (we'll see in chapter 28).
"If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Rom. 8:31). "Don't be afraid . . . Those who are with us are more than those who are with them" (2 Kings 6:16). "Do not be afraid or discouraged . . . there is a greater power with us" than with those who oppose us (1 Chron. 32:7).

Let's pray-
"Father, Your Word affirms that Jesus Christ is building me up into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to You. I belong to a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar people; that I should show forth Your praises. You called me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. I pray that I may be blameless and harmless, a daughter/son of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom I shine as a light in the world. I desire to hold forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain. Amen."

Scripture Reading
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 Philippians 2:15-16 (KJV) 1 Peter 2:5, 9 (KJV)
1 Cor. 6:19, 20 (NKJV) "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? (v.20) For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Heb. 1:14 (NKJV) "Are they (angels) not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
Today's quote-
~ Winn Collier- "Through Scripture, God promises to be with His people, to care for us, guide us, and never abandon us—whether in life or death. Even help you pass through the waters."
(ODB 4/27/20)
Words of wisdom-
~ Look for opportunities to bless others as Jesus directs. Let His love flow through you, as you find ways to reach out in love to those around you. He loves us all, and longs to have us fulfil His purpose for us.
