Diana Leagh Matthews shares with us, “Jesus loves me! This I know, for the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong, they are weak but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus Loves Me! Yes, Jesus Loves Me! Yes, Jesus Loves Me! For the Bible tells me so.'
The last thing I do when I go to perform or have a music session with a group is to sing 'Jesus Loves Me' as we shake hands.
I believe when I’m with children and those with disabilities, I’m planting the seeds that will last a lifetime.
These young people will need this reminder as they journey through life.
When I’m with senior adults, my heart leaps to see those lost deep in the recesses of dementia and Alzheimer’s, have a glimmer of spark in their eye.
This may only be for a moment, but I believe somewhere deep in their mind I’m triggering a memory of what they learned as children.
When Nicodemus came to Jesus under the cloak of darkness, Jesus already knew not only the questions Nicodemus would ask, but He knew the fear.
Christ gently confirmed the love of God by this awesome example…for God SO loved the world that he gave his one and only Son… What an impression to print on Nichodemus’ heart.
And on ours.
No matter how difficult life becomes or how far away we are, we have the eternal promise that 'Yes, Jesus Loves Me.'
A reminder that we all need, regardless of our age.
Everyone has dark days and bleak times in their lives but the reminder we are loved with an everlasting and unconditional love brings hope.
The next time you find yourself in a group of people, try humming Jesus Loves Me.
I can almost guarantee someone will go home with the tune of Christ’s love in their life."
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17

Let’s pray: Father, help me remember that Jesus really does love me. Your love shines through Him to me, to show me the way that pleases You. I want to honor You in all I do, so I ask for Your Holy Spirit to enable me to love others, as You do. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Our Scripture for today: 1 Chron. 4:10 "..Oh that Thou would bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that thine had might be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me!"
Today’s quote: Our Daily Bread –
2/25/13
“No one understands like Jesus
When the days are dark and grim.
No one is so near, so dear as Jesus;
Cast your every care on Him.”
No one understands like Jesus.”
Our thought for today: The Lord's desire is to help us get through whatever life brings.
