He can often manipulate persons and circumstance so as to delay prayer's answers, but he cannot stop the angels from bringing God's answers. Prayer is his nemesis [torment]. He cannot triumph over prevailing prayer. (Google image, Early morning prayer)
Satan is more afraid of your praying than of your pure life or zealous witness. One's life may be a beautiful witness that cannot be silence, but prayer is a militant force that has the potential of defeating Satan, destroying his works, and driving him out of places and lives he claims for his own.
So how does Satan react? He tries to deceive and hinder by bluff or bluster. He refuses to acknowledge his defeat by Christ. He stubbornly holds on to all he claims till he is forced to surrender his dominance.
He yields only when he is compelled to. You must repeatedly call his bluff, reaffirm and insist on Calvary's victory, and force his vacating all he has so arrogantly usurped.
Keep up your prayer offensive. Mobilize all your prayer resources. Fasting prayer is heavy artillery in your arsenal. Prayer burden is powerful bombardment of Satan's territory.
Wrestling prayer sends mighty guided prayer missiles to destroy Satan's works. Satan is always vulnerable to the prevailing prayer of God's intercessors.
He cannot stop prayer or escape your prayer. Press on. God's power is available and unlimited. It is released with devastating effect on Satan's forces as you militantly prevail.

#123 Prayer the Nemesis of Satan

Prayer-
Father, we understand that Satan often times manipulates folks and circumstances so as to delay our prayers getting answered, and it's good to know he cannot stop angels from bringing God's answers.
As prevailing prayer is a militant force that has the potential of defeating Satan, destroying his works, and driving him out of places and lives he claims for his own, help us remain faithful in our praying.

When we wrestle in prayer, we're sending mighty guided prayer missiles to destroy Satan's works. He is always vulnerable to our prevailing prayer as God's intercessors.
So let's repeatedly call his bluff and reaffirm and insist on Calvary's victory! We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Today's Bible verses-
(Jer. 23:29)"Is not my word like a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rods in pieces?"
(Ps. 49:3) My mouth shall speak of wisdom and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding."
(Ps. 29:4) "The voice of the LORD is powerful: the voice of the LORD is full of majesty."
(Ps. 49:3) My mouth shall speak of wisdom and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding."
(Ps. 29:4) "The voice of the LORD is powerful: the voice of the LORD is full of majesty."
Today's quotes-
~ Wesley L. Duewel: "To be filled with the Spirit is more than consecration. Consecration is the necessary condition. The infilling of the Spirit is the divine response to total surrender of ourselves, our present and our future—our all. We are not filled till we have the divine response. Then we will be living our spiritual life on a higher, deeper, more victorious plane, life fully in the Spirit, life controlled by the Spirit." (Taken from pp. 273-274 in his book, ABLAZE FOR GOD).
~ Larry Lea: "A demon won't even say the words "Jesus is Lord" unless it's with a mocking tone of voice. The demons will not confess that Jesus is God's Son come in the flesh. They will not declare Jesus to be Lord.
Today's questions-
Do you question your ability to effectively pray? Are you wondering whether or not God even listens to you?
From what this post tells us, we are a force that the devil fears and hates, when we pray. No doubt he tries to keep you from even trying to pray, but take heart, if you're asking for something that is honoring to God, He is listening, and He is answering what your heart is crying out for Him to take part in.
Remember, it may take some time for God to work in others' lives to bring about His will for them. Much may need to happen to make changes, and for them to even see their need. If the burden continues, keep praying, believing you'll eventually see the effects of your prayer. Don't give up!

"God's Word was precious and so right
And just what I needed.
I learned to keep His truths in sight
So His Word I heeded.
I'd always longed to hear God's Word
And the Scriptures to know.
I soon found out these things I heard
Would show the way to go."
