C. Peter Wagner shares with us that "Many at this point will be asking, 'I wonder if I might have the gift of intercession?'
If you do have it, remember that it is only because God has graciously chosen to give it to you.
It is not one of those skills such as ballet dancing or playing baseball that you acquire through hard work and persistence.
Since God gives the gift, your responsibility is to discover whether or not you have it.
The process of discovering whether you have the gift of intercession is the same as any of the 26 other spiritual gifts.
I have elaborated on this in some detail in my book Your Spiritual Gifts Can Help Your Church Grow (Regal Books), so I will only summarize the process here.
Here are five steps you need to take to see if you have this or any other gift.
1. Explore the Possibilities. At this point you need to know that the gift of intercession is one of the spiritual gifts God distributes to the Body of Christ.
All Christians must fulfill their role as intercessor, but some have a gift and ministry far above the ordinary.
2 Experiment with the Gift. Try intercession as much and in as many ways as you possibly can. This experimentation should be long-term and undertaken in a serious way.
Ask God to show you through the process whether you have the gift or whether you do not.
If your gift is not intercession, move on and discover what your gift or gifts are. And still be faithful pray-er."

the series taken from C. Peter Wagner’s book, PRAYER
SHIELD, How to intercede for pastors, Christian leaders and others on
the spiritual frontlines. (pgs. 56,57) By Regal Books
Let’s pray: Father, may I honestly examine the gifts You've given me for the local body of Christ, my church. As I attempt to pray for my leaders and others in authority here, please make it plain what my responsibility is. Help me find others who are also concerned about praying for Your Spirit to meet with them and to move on and in them. In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
Today’s Bible
verse: Zeph. 3:8a "Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD."
Some quotes: Joel Osteen – “Nothing can stand against our God. Whatever you face in
life, if you will just hold your peace and remain at rest, God promises He will
fight your battles. He will make a way even when you don’t see a way.”
- Mary Southerland –“A preacher once said, “Some Christians grow.
Others just swell.” Arrogance and pride are the result of knowledge that is
misused. Knowledge can be a weapon of destruction or a tool of construction. It
all depends on how it is used. We can know doctrine and never know God. We can
grow in Bible knowledge, but not grow in grace. We can attend church every time
the doors are open but until we actually apply God’s truth to the way we live,
something is lost in the way we translate the Good News of Jesus Christ.”
Some thoughts today: Practical ways, and God’s ways, don’t agree. Don’t be surprised, as
Satan doesn’t agree with Him at all, and he’ll work through ungodly and
“practical” ways.

"Solid Biblical teaching on the topic of marriage is broken down into easily comprehended poems which give a thought to chew on in a day. The quotes and Bible verses at the end of the devotional are also thought provoking. Great for brides of any age."
